Deborah Bishop’s Music
Deborah’s music background has been as diverse as a competitive youth choir, for which she was featured soloist, operatic training, demoing for various writers with the capacity to sound like many of the prominent female artists. Also, performing with various bands, Big Band / Torch Singing (Still a personal favorite of hers), R & B, Hits of the 50s and 60s as well as some pretty off the wall and experimental music projects. She has sung hard rock and soft rock, done musical tribute to Patsy Cline, been groomed for girl group stardom and ultimately found her own path doing her own music, her own way! Deb’s music has been heard all over the world, has climbed the indie charts and has won awards. Her album, “Just My Alibi” won best Americana Album of the year and recieved critical acclaim.
Her style has evolved, and while she is still pretty rootsie in feel her new songs are lit up with inspiration, emotion, passion and hope for a better tomorrow. In today’s market it is positive music, new thought, or inspirational by category, pure heart by the artists standards and Deb has shared there is nothing more satisfying then feeling the heart beat of a room who is receiving a heart felt message of strength and possibility.
The YES Method and Deb’s Life Coaching and Personal Development teachings, writings and seminars have integrated with her original music and performance to produce entertainment that inspires and uplifts her audiences. She is currently working on her new album and is very excited for what lies ahead.
